NC Battery Relocation Kit
Took a bit of time to receive, but this is a well thought through piece of kit. Hands down best option out there. Designed around a specific NOCO battery. My NC is not a daily driver. Not sure Lithium is the way to go if you daily your Miata in Buffalo, but not an issue for me.
I bought a nut-sert tool to install this, but I needed one anyhow. Also installed a larger nut-sert in one of the factory frame rail holes, which was a bit big for the 6MM nut -sert. I ditched the factory hold down hooks for some 1/4” threaded rod. I cut off the factory positive lead and pressed on an eye terminal with a 1/4” eye. Much cleaner installation. Cover the hold down rod near the positive terminal with some 5/16ths heater hose for insurance for no ground faults, same for ac condenser line and good to go. So requires some user effort to make perfect but nicely done on the stuff Fab9 provides.
