Precision machined bronze shifter bushing for the NC Miata - This setup is designed for the 6 speed transmission turret only (the 5 speed was less problematic from Mazda so it's rare there is a need for an "upgrade" material.)
Notice: It’s normal for the fitment to feel loose during the installation. As the shifter bushing is constructed of brass, it’s not designed to “snap” onto the fulcrum like your OE bushing. Drop it down into the transmission carefully before installing the shifter itself.
NC1 = 2006-08 NC2 = 2009-12 NC3 = 2013-15
It's worth noting that the transmission change to the NC2 can be found near the end of the 2008 generation. If you'd like to measure before, the outer diameter for the for the NC1 bushing is roughly 22mm and the NC2 is 24mm.

Good tiny upgrade for a worn out part
Good tiny upgrade for a worn out part , and do replace the lock-out part, i only had 35k on my NC1 and the shifter lockout was noticeably worn. replacing it really made shifting so much easier.

Amazing
Original plastic bushing "disintegrated"... I ordered from Mazda but it took forever and when they finally got it, it was the wrong part for my car.... Ordered this online, got it in a couple of days and honestly shifting on my 06 NC 6 speed has never been better!

Brass shift bushing
Part arrived quickly. No instructions about installation included. Bushing was very tight on shift ball, I hope it wears in a bit with use.

More precise shifting

Shift bushing
Changed this piece in my 2007 miata with over 100,000 miles, and shifting feels amazing. From plastic to brass, such a great change. For such a low price, you would be missing out for not buying this

Not brass ball but close!
Ordered one from Rev9. Charged my card instantly but I never got shipping/tracking info. After a few days I contacted CS and was told items usually ship in 5 to 10 days. Told me that I had email problems and they had sent a conformation. I tried again and was told my rep was too busy to chat. I found the bushing on Fab9 and ordered it. Even with shipping still cheaper than Rev9. Got instant conformation and tracking just like always from Bryan. A couple of days later my bushing was at my house. I installed it in my 06. Also did the turret oil and was amazed by the change. Definitely worth the effort. As always, Bryan's the man!
