The MX-5 has a historically incredible shifter feel. As these cars continue to age, this feeling degrades and the feel becomes sloppy. This kit not only restores that feeling, it improves on it with the combination of OEM rebuild components, and our own brass shifter bushings.

It makes Freebird sound better
I bought my Miata with 54k. I didn’t think a more precise feel was possible. I judged modern transmissions against it, and the only one better was a pro’s shifter kart. Then I got the rebuild kit and I learned why all the old timers like manuals. 100% a part you want for the enjoyment of your ‘yatta.
