We’ve been holding off on this announcement for a couple of years now. Most of a decade or so back we worked with a manufacturer to build out a seriously impressive line of camshafts. Most too aggressive for a stock piston engine. These cams had their drawbacks by way of manufacturing so a few years back we helped BC launch a mellow line of camshafts that fit the needs of many and our original grinds.

That's when we re-engineered the standard camshaft upgrade from the ground up. Our MZR/Duratec Performance Camshafts are manufactured using new virgin production cores—not re-grinds—ensuring optimal strength, durability, and most importantly, OEM-level fitment.

Thanks to our meticulous design that retains a precise OEM base circle, installation is refreshingly simple. These cams drop into place like factory originals—no shims, and in most cases, no bucket adjustments required.

Stage 1 - “Super Street”
Ideal for daily drivers and 2.0L or 2.5L builds wanting refined power
A mild yet efficient upgrade with zero impact on idle quality or drivability. Perfect for street cars that want to wake up the top-end (3400+ RPM), especially lazy 2.5L conversions. It’s the cam for those chasing that “OEM+” feel.

Stage 2 - “Thumper”
The fan favorite. Aggressive without going overboard
This grind walks the line perfectly: noticeable idle lope, strong mid-to-high RPM gains, and still streetable without requiring valve spring upgrades or piston modifications. Ideal for those pairing with the Fab9 Elite Intake Manifold and seeking maximum return from a naturally aspirated setup. A true all-rounder camshaft.

Stage 4 - “Ralph"
For fully-built NA monsters only
A resurrection of our legendary Stage 4 grind, this .465" lift camshaft is designed for high-output naturally aspirated builds. It's aggressive, powerful, and unapologetic. Supporting mods are a must—but if you're this deep into your build, you already know the deal.
