We've calibrated nearly 200 forced induction ND MX-5's. The standard cooling system is fairly efficient but when it comes to supporting these huge gains in output, it's just wasn't meant for the additional workload. We're VERY pleased to now offer the CSF product line for the ND platform - It's leading the way in cooling technology with their new unique B-tubing technology provides more surface area and 10% to 15% more cooling efficiency than factory units, and that's only their FIN design. Unlike a regular oval shape "O" type radiator tube, CSF uses a specially engineered tube in a shape of a "B". These "B-tubes" are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam to seal. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum material (better cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than normal "O" shape tubes that are welded. |

In testing, our high performance aluminum radiator showed a significant increase in efficiency over the stock unit. This was the major challenge in creating this radiator as the O.E. Porsche part is already very efficient, so much so that even the RSR race cars simply use a modified version of the stock piece. |
