Best option out there for 2.5L conversion
I was having a serious problem with heat soak in my engine bay. My cammed 2.5 is pushed fairly hard, and the valve cover became a weak point as the spark plug boss heat up and melt the surrounding plastic, causing misfires and oil blow-by. This valve cover fixed that instantaneously. The finish is gorgeous, the barbed fitting is well thought out and makes catch can install a breeze, as well as creating a much cleaner look if you want to just run a hose to your inlet for recirculation. Beyond impressed, and was well worth the wait.
Side note:
If you have a 2.5 swap, you’ll need the correct seal for your vvt as the seal that comes with the cover does not fit the solenoid used on a 2.5. It’s 10 bucks at any parts store.
