Zestek SSP Paddle Shifter Steering Wheel Hub
The Zestek SSP delivers the essential steering wheel controls needed for performance transmission applications in a simple, hard-wired package.
Designed specifically for vehicles that don't need the extensive CANBus functionality of the Zestek SCX or SCX Pro, the SSP integrates dual paddle shifters, two high-quality momentary switches, and Zestek's V2 quick-release system into one clean steering wheel hub.
For ZF 8HP conversions, DCT swaps, sequential transmissions, and standalone ECU applications, this provides an exceptionally straightforward way to put shift control directly at the driver's fingertips.
Direct-Wired Paddle Shifters
The SSP utilizes the same paddle-shifter mechanisms found in Zestek's SCX lineup, providing a crisp and positive shift action without requiring an electronic CAN controller inside the hub.
The paddles can be wired directly to compatible transmission controllers or ECUs as discrete inputs, making the SSP particularly well suited for:

Dual Momentary Auxiliary Switches
Two OTTO momentary pushbuttons are integrated directly into the SSP faceplate and positioned for easy thumb access. Zestek identifies these as high-reliability, mil-spec switches.
Because they're simple hard-wired inputs, their function is determined by the ECU, TCU, PDM, or other controller they're connected to.

Zestek V2 Quick Release
The SSP includes Zestek's V2 Quick Release, providing a rigid, positive steering-wheel connection while allowing the wheel to be quickly removed for vehicle entry, service, or driver changes.
The system is designed around the common 6x70mm steering wheel bolt pattern used by many aftermarket steering wheels. Zestek lists its quick-release architecture as compatible with standard 6x70mm steering-wheel/boss-kit applications.
Simple by Design
The biggest advantage of the SSP is what it doesn't require.
There is no need to configure a steering-wheel CAN device just to obtain basic paddle and button functionality. The paddles and switches can be treated as conventional hard-wired inputs by the vehicle's electronics.
That makes it an excellent match for purpose-built track cars and transmission conversions where simplicity, reliability, and serviceability take priority.
