Paco Motorsports NC Miata Diffuser
The NC's rear bumper cover acts like a parachute at speed. This diffuser from Paco Motorsports was designed specifically for the NC Miata to do four jobs: improve aerodynamic efficiency, increase downforce at the rear axle, eliminate the bumper cover's parachute effect, and look fantastic doing it.
The profile stays mostly within the perimeter of the bodywork — a sturdy, streetable piece that looks the part without going overboard — and gradually decreases air velocity as it exits the rear of the car, merging it with the slower air coming over the top. The lowest point sits level with the lowest point of the rear subframe, so ground clearance is a non-issue on reasonably low cars.

FITMENT NOTES: Fits all NC Miatas 2006-2015 EXCEPT NC1 cars equipped with the factory Appearance Package. On NC2/NC3 cars with the cosmetic factory diffuser/valence at the bottom center of the bumper cover, that piece must be removed for the Paco diffuser to fit — it comes off with a few small fasteners that can be retained and reinstalled later. Five bumper holes are exposed on those cars; plastic trim plugs are included in the hardware kit to fill them.
