We no longer ship the ARP version of this bolt! You'll see an ecoboost part instead. 

As the crankshaft on your NC engine flexes, the damper absorbs incredible amounts of energy, that's what it's there for. These damper bolt kits from ARP will ensure that your balancer is locked into position allowing it to absorb bad engine harmonics. They feature a 1/4 in. thick wide-area washer and an extra-tall, 12-point head that accepts a deep socket to eliminate the fear of stripping the head.

ARP Torque Specs

• Note: current kits ship with the Ford Ecoboost balancer bolt (we no longer ship the ARP version) — torque to Ford's specification for that bolt
• ARP 251-2501 reference: the original ARP bolt spec'd 140 ft-lbs with ARP Ultra-Torque on the threads, under the bolt head, and on the balancer face (single bolt, no sequence)

All torque values assume ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant (included in the kit). Do not substitute motor oil — ARP notes it produces higher friction and inconsistent clamp load.

Is this still an ARP bolt?
No. We now ship the Ford Ecoboost balancer bolt in this kit instead of the ARP 251-2501. Follow Ford's torque specification for the Ecoboost bolt.
