The New Mazda MX-5 continues the philosophy of a historic lightweight sports car that existed for a very long time. HKS recommends superchargers as a power-up menu for cars with N/A engines. HKS had already succeeded in power-up of N/A engines such as the 350Z , S2000 and CR-Z.The MX-5 power-up menu also uses HKS GT2 supercharger to make comfortable yet exciting sports driving possible. This kit includes all necessary hardware components for a complete installation.
This kit does require the use of an aftermarket battery with smaller exterior dimensions. Follow this link for the small battery mounting system.
*Install note: The FM and Whiteline Sway bars are NOT compatible, you will need to revert back to the factory front sway bar OR install the Progress sway bar*

Great Kit beware FM sway bar owners
This is an awesome kit but my installer told be that the Flyin Miata front sway bar interferes with the new extended crank pulley and I tossed my oem bar.

Easy Install and a huge linear power improvement. I installed this myself in my driveway/garage up on jack stands w/ handyman tools. One of the main reasons I purchased this SC from FAB9Tuning was that FAB9 actually writes the Tune for it! Mine is an A/T and it works great on it. I took it out on the track for the first time.
