The FAB9 STAGE 2 Intercooler might be the last intercooler you'll ever need to buy.  Utilizing the well known and trusted high quality Vibrant Air-to-Air intercooler cores, these units will support a 550hp power plant.  These intercoolers require modification to the core support and secure using existing mounting holes on your NA and NB Miata. Material must be cut for clearance. The installation requires you to modify the core support, customers report  having the installation complete in about 2-3 hours.  The STAGE 2 intercooler is only recommended for builds producing a minimal of 240whp.

***Notice: The top and bottom protective plates do not have air traveling through them. They almost unavoidably become damaged in shipping, despite packing efforts. It's not exposed during the installation and doesn't change the performance of the intercooler. If damage occurs that either cosmetically once installed, or functionally effects the intercooler we are happy to start a claim with the shipping company and resolve it! We just want to manage expectations with shipping heavy aluminum products.
