**These assembly springs are typically included, however they often end up in low inventory. We will not delay your order due to this and we ask that you use your existing assembly spring. It doesn't need to be replaced unless you launch it across the garage during disassembly.

Good, but...
Good kit, mostly. The accessory belts were a disappointment. They're not Gates brand, as in the pic, but instead cheap feeling and made in Argentina. I replaced them with Bando OE belts for $10. Why skimp on such a cheap thing? The Gates water pump is made in China, but still a Gates so probably fine. Shipping was very slow (over a week.)

Almost complete, couple suggestions
I bought this kit recently when I noticed my 2000 LS leaking coolant from the water pump. Most of the parts included appear to be high quality. I did not install the Chinese-made accessory belts, as the US-made Bando belts on the car were in good shape. Would suggest including Bando belts with this kit.
But the biggest problem was the lack of the thermostat housing o-ring, where the housing bolts to the head. I removed the housing to make water pump installation easier, but then had to order that o-ring separately and wait days for delivery. My timing belt job took nearly 2 weeks because of that. Other Miata parts suppliers include that o-ring in their timing belt and water pump kits, and I would highly recommend Fab9 consider including it in this one also. I could have been done in one weekend had I already had that o-ring on hand. -

The only thing I had to purchase separately was a new crankshaft woodruff key as mine was old and worn out. other than that it was smooth sailing!
